Mission: The Tim Ferriss 4 week Muscle Building Exercise

I, Schastar, have accepted my first, long term mission.

I expect this mission to get me fully into the “now” by reconnecting with my body and resetting my diet. It is my last “cleanup tasks” before I fully engage in my goal to find companion for life.

I have made a bet with MindGame that will give me extra motivation. The contract I have agreed on is this:

  • Chest: 108cm
  • Belly: 91cm
  • Ass at widest: 98cm
  • Arms: 30cm
  • Thighs: 59cm
  • Neck: 41cm

Training program

Training is done every second day for between 30 and 60 minutes. All exercises are done with just one set.

Each repetition lasts 10 seconds, 5 seconds to raise weight, 5 seconds to lower.

The reps are done until breaking point (i.e. when you cannot do one more)

I will be blogging about the program in the following days.

Diet:

Allowed food:

  • Eggs (but only the egg whites)
  • Oatmeal with milk (but only for breakfast)
  • Beef, Chicken, Fish and Shellfish
  • Black bread (made of rye) - 3 slices a day
  • Protein milk shakes
  • Any fruit and vegetable
  • Beans and Lentils

Everything else is not allowed. White bread, rice, pasta and other products heavy on carbon hydrate products will be avoided as much as possible.

I will have to drink plenty of water too.

Alcohol is strictly disallowed. The bet with MindGame is lost if just one unit of alcohol is taken in the 4 week period

The experiment runs from 5th June to 3rd July
